Abstract

The article derives the exact formula of an anomalous flat-bottomed well that is hydrodynamically imperfect in terms of the degree of reservoir penetration. The formation of this well is divided into two parts: in the upper part of the formation of large thickness there is a flat-radial simple filtration flow, and in the lower part of the formation there is a complex flow. The pre-determined flat-bottomed borehole having a concave hemisphere surface as a bottom hole is replaced. This second well has a flat-radial simple flow of oil filtration in the upper part of the reservoir, and a   hemispherical-radial flow in the lower part of the reservoir. Two stationary hydro-dynamic problems are solved and a method for deriving the formulas for the oil flow rate that seeps into the well from both parts of the reservoir separately is recommended; also, by   summing them up, the exact formula for the total flow rate of a flat-bottomed well is obtained. The anomalous oil seeping into the formation is subject to the modified model of V.F. Shulman.
